The Youth Services Division believes that each child is unique and special! Every child is celebrated and provided tools for success in a safe and supportive environment.

Spring Break Camp "Frontier Days"

Giddy up y’all… Come join Youth Services for some western fun. Throughout the week Campers will step back in time and appreciate life on the range. Activities will include line dancing, butter making, sheriff of the day, roping lessons, special guests (including animals) a good ole’ fashioned hoe-down, and a trip to the Cal Poly Rodeo grounds. Spring Break Camp offers Campers ages 6-12 (5 years old if enrolled in Kindergarten), a day Camp experience with activities including art exploration, indoor and outdoor discovery, cooking, science experiments, group games and much more.
The WEEK-LONG package price includes four-days of care, trip to the Rodeo (rain will cancel), two daily snacks and engaging activities.
The per-DAY price includes all on-site activities, two daily snacks and any planned trips/on-site special events.
Spaces are limited – first come, first served registration.

Please note, the process has changed to accommodate the families we serve. Priority is given to families in the following order: 1) returning families (currently enrolled), 2) incoming Kindergarten families, 3) new families (not currently enrolled, not incoming Kinder), 4) all families from the previous list who miss their registration period. For all families who are currently enrolled in Club STAR or Sun ‘N Fun, you will be able to register for care for the 2017-18 school year at YOUR PROGRAM SITE during designated hours.
Sun 'N Fun and Club STAR
Before- and After-School Programs
Sun ‘N Fun (a state-licensed drop-in program) for TK-6th graders and Club STAR (Students Taking Active Responsibility) for 3rd-6th graders are located on-campus at six elementary schools within the City: Bishop's Peak, C.L. Smith, Hawthorne, Pacheco, Sinsheimer, and Teach Elementary Schools. Daily curriculum includes a variety of developmentally appropriate indoor and outdoor activities and experiences, homework assistance, nutritional mid-morning and afternoon snacks, and group times. Enrollment is on a first-come/first-serve basis and is limited by state licensing capacity mandates.
